Short apply is not the technical launch runway
Account access and a funded wallet open the console — they do not green day-1 vault gates. Keep launch runway checks under Launch, separate from apply and KYC.
A short apply feels like progress: company fields, review status, console login. That path opens access. It does not prove messaging, webhooks, or catalog Live are ready for production traffic.
IOSOR separates commercial onboarding from technical launch. Apply and KYC decide whether you may enter. The day-1 runway decides whether sends, DLR, and vault-backed products may leave the sandbox. Mixing those gates creates false greens: teams top up, ship keys, and still fail the first corridor.
Treat access as permission to configure. Treat launch as vault, webhook heartbeat, and catalog honesty — not a longer questionnaire.
Separate apply status from launch green
Apply status asks: may this company open an account? Launch green asks: may this account send production on named products? Keep answers on different surfaces. Identity review belongs with compliance and access. Runway items — messaging profile webhook, Verify profile, voice connection, Live catalog flips — belong under Launch. One progress bar trains operators to treat a completed apply as runway done.
Access then wallet — still not runway
After access, prepaid asks for a funded wallet before holds can cover sends. That is commercial truth: balance before traffic. It is still not technical launch. A funded wallet lets you exercise holds, pilot debit, and spend control. It does not prove DLR correlation, sandbox-to-Live key cutover, or that catalog Live matches vault. Celebrating the first top-up as go-live skips the runway.
Keep day-1 vault gates under Launch
Vault gates are product readiness, not identity readiness. Messaging, Verify, voice, and adjacent channels go Live only when secrets and smoke exist. Catalog honesty means setup stays labeled setup until those gates pass. Park every vault item on the Launch board. Do not bury them in apply forms or KYC comments. Live while vault is empty ships a lie — clients see a tile, then fail on first send.
Refuse one progress bar for two jobs
Product and sales love a single percentage. Ops cannot. Mixing KYC percent with webhook percent trains everyone to stop at access.
Use two statuses: access (apply/KYC) and runway (Launch). Report them separately in weekly ops. When access is done and runway is red, say so — do not invent a blended green.
If partners ask for a go-live date, answer with runway owners and vault items, not apply timestamps.

Start with IOSOR
Open the IOSOR console and confirm your account access status is approved before moving to the Launch board. Fund the initial USD 20 wallet balance to clear the commercial hold gate and enable pilot routing. Keep all day-1 vault keys, DLR correlation checks, and webhook endpoints explicitly tracked under Launch readiness instead of compliance onboarding.
IOSOR takeaway
Passing identity checks and funding the USD 20 wallet provides account access and commercial liquidity, but it does not constitute technical launch readiness. Conflating compliance approval with operational readiness masks technical blockers and encourages teams to route traffic before secrets and webhooks are validated.
Do maintain distinct status indicators for access approval and technical runway in weekly operational reviews. Don't mark a deployment green for live production until secret vaults, channel smoke tests, and webhook endpoints pass verification under the Launch workflow.

- Access, then the USD 20 prepaid floor
After apply access comes the prepaid wallet floor — a pilot start, not an entry fee and not a production-send badge. Holds still need runway truth.
- Account access is not production send
Console login and sandbox keys are not Live traffic. Keep catalog honesty and day-1 runway gates in front of any production send after apply access.
