Sender registration gate before production
Do not ship production traffic until sender registration, 10DLC, and toll-free gates are green for every corridor you claim — separate from wallet stops and coverage fallback.
A chosen Sender ID is not a production license. Alphanumeric, local DID, and toll-free each carry registration or campaign state that must be green before production keys move real volume. Shipping because creative is ready burns prepaid when the corridor rejects unregistered identity.
This page is the sender registration gate: block prod until registration / 10DLC / toll-free matches every corridor you claim.
IOSOR is white-label prepaid. USD 20 funds the pilot floor; soft review near USD 1,000/month is when unregistered senders become finance incidents. Opt-in: opt-in evidence for 10DLC. Privacy: US privacy and 10DLC gates. Coverage: Zone vs WORLD gate before production. Stops: Wallet stop-lines before production.
Registration green means production may start
Treat registration like vault readiness: pass/fail per corridor and message class. Pass means the registered identity matches production traffic, campaign or brand is approved where required, and a held pilot under that identity returned an honest terminal status. Fail means keep pilot keys or block the corridor. Never equate “field accepted the string” with “registration green.
10DLC, toll-free, and alphanumeric gates are separate
| Sender path | Green before prod | Common false pass |
|---|---|---|
| US 10DLC (local DID A2P) | Brand + campaign approved; use case matches | Brand filed, campaign pending |
| US toll-free verification | TF verified for claimed traffic class | Number assigned, verification incomplete |
| Alphanumeric (where required) | Registration accepted for those ISOs / classes | Open in one market, assumed everywhere |
Green 10DLC does not approve EU alphanumeric; verified toll-free does not waive STOP/HELP on a different number.
Opt-in evidence is not the same as sender registration
Opt-in proves consent capture — opt-in evidence for 10DLC. Registration proves the from-identity may carry that traffic. US A2P needs both: missing evidence blocks campaign approval; missing registration blocks identity even with perfect consent logs. Privacy gates (US privacy and 10DLC gates) sit beside this page — privacy copy ≠ 10DLC/TF green.
Wallet stop-lines do not replace registration gates
Stop-lines protect prepaid when balance or pace trips a threshold — Wallet stop-lines before production. They do not detect an unregistered Sender ID. Coverage is separate: WORLD fallback is not a named zone — Zone vs WORLD gate before production.
